Final Fantasy XI To Be PS2 ExclusiveDATE: 2003-05-29 21:13:45
Sony Computer Entertainment America announced at their press conference today (May 13th, 2003) that they had acquired a console exclusive agreement with Square Enix for their upcoming title, Final Fantasy XI for the PS2 and PC. The game will be cross-platform, allowing gamers on both PS2 and PC systems to interact in a shared massively multiplayer online role playing game (MMORPG) experience regardless of which system they're playing on.
Square-Enix will release Final Fantasy XI in the first quarter of 2004; this will be released at the same time as the much-anticipated 40GB hard drive for the PS2. Pricing and availability has not yet been revealed. |
