Straight from Nickelodeon, Butt - Ugly Martians are coming to the PS2 this summer. Much like Wipeout, but with a more cartoony look, players fight their way through speedy races in futuristic locations, nabbing power-ups and basically thwarting their opponents every chance they get.
The game tells the story of a group of a Martians, who happen to be butt-ugly. In order to continue their assignment on Earth, they must win the Martian’s Conqueror’s Cup or face the wrath of Emperor Bog. Players will be able to control 7 different characters from the popular television series, each with their own unique racing vehicle and special abilities.
As it is based off of a Nickelodeon show, there is also a special Kid's mode with simplified controls and a modified physics system. With over 9 tracks, there could be just enough material in this game to make it a favorite amongst younger players everywhere. But the great thing is, this game has enough potential to allow older siblings and even parents join in on the action. Butt-Ugly Martians is definitely a title to watch out for before the holiday season.
