Joining Majesco's already impressive sci-fi themed E3 lineup, Advent Rising and BlowOut, Black9 looks to deliver a engrossing, tactical mission-based gameplay and RPG style skill-development to PC and Xbox gamers. Developed by Taldren, the studio behind the critically acclaimed Starfleet Command, Black9 is a third person adventure featuring hi-tech gadgets, weapons and cybernetics.

Although details are limited, the game takes place in the year 2080, and nine powerful cartels known as the Illuminati are engaged in an all out war for control over mankind. Motivated by their own self-serving interests, these groups are headed towards a dangerous endgame. Players take on the role of a mercenary trapped between the warring factions. Black9 will feature a deep, dark story full of greed and betrayal in which players will have to keep their friends close, and their enemies even closer. The game will also offer broadband multiplayer support and co-op gameplay.

Built on the acclaimed Unreal Warfare Engine, Black9 looks to be one to keep an eye on later this year.
