Take a step away from the legal tracks of popular racing and hop into the seat of Xpand Rally, a semi-legal racing game that has over 60 tracks from Europe to Africa to the USA. Over 30 different tuned-up versions of real cars are available to the player, and they can be modified with over 70 different parts.
It's not all fun and games, though. The drivers you'll be competing against are adrenaline induced speed junkies who would love nothing more than to throw you and your car off the track. Not limiting your enemy to just rival drivers, the track can also spell your downfall. The treacherous turns and slopes of rally tracks have been recreated in Xpand Rally to give you the ride of your life. And if that wasn't enough, the weather is gunning for you as well. Rain can be just as lethal as a 6-car pileup directly in front of you.
As this game is built on the Chrome engine, another Strategy First title, the graphics are looking very nice. Cars can take damage and accurately represent it on their exteriors, and the environment surrounding the tracks is totally animated with things like animals, people, and fauna. Xpand Rally may be no Gran Turismo, but it certainly has the speed to catch up.
