Then, I thought, sure it's a cool idea to turn your Xbox into a karaoke machine, but would I actually get up in front of the masses and sing?!
MadCatz was showing off an interesting peripheral - a microphone that plugs into a controller in the expansion slot. This was being used in conjunction with a karaoke game (don't remember who made the game) that had 26 songs to choose from. The system worked pretty good, and after floundering about a bit, I finally got up and gave it a shot. It was actually pretty fun, and for my (less than) stunning rendition of Gloria Gainer's "I Will Survive", I was rewarded with a cool MadCatz E3 T-shirt and (at my prodding) a bottle of Bawls. E3 can be soooo yummy.
I will get more information on the cool Xbox karaoke products in the near future, so stay tuned!
