Building upon its preceding ASB games, Acclaim is in development of
All-Star Baseball 2002 for the PlayStation 2 console. With the power
of the PS2, ASB 2002 will set out to make an enormously beautiful
baseball title next spring. It is said to have graphics so smooth that the
polygon count in the players' heads alone will be higher than the entire
stadium in previous games of the series. But you be the judge. Check out Shea Stadium!
Features in ASB 2002 will include 6 modes of play, TV-style
presentation, 3D batting, Future Throw Technology, and a 3-man play-by-play
commentary, among numerous others. Using the PS2's resources, ASB
2002 will display unprecedented graphics and track more stats than ever,
thanks to the new 8MB memory card. Look for All-Star Baseball 2002
to be released in Spring of 2001.
