Interplay will be bringing you Digital Mayhem's Run Like Hell next year, but we had a peek at it at E3 2000. How good is it? It looked good enough for us to choose it as Best Upcoming PS2 Game of Show. (Yes, we saw Metal Gear Solid 2, but that's a sequel...)

Run Like Hell presents you with a familiar setting... You find yourself trapped among a horde of aliens who have a nasty fate planned for you. (Think 'Aliens', etc.) The difference here? You had a chance with 'Aliens'. Most of the alien lifeforms (known only as 'the Race' at this point) are completely impervious to your 'primative' weaponry. So, as brave as you may be, your choice is to die a pointless death, or... Run Like Hell.

'the Race'Run Like Hell will take full advantage of the PlayStation 2's capabilities, while the devious (and frightful) enemies and complex storyline will keep you on the edge of your seat. Basically, Run Like Hell is the 'Thinking Man's (or Woman's, sheesh!) Action Game'. The cinematic style and dark, eerie mood of the game submerges you in a dangerous, dark world, where the future (as bad as it may be) is up to you.

Expect Run Like Hell to be released in the first quarter of 2001...
