Titan A.E. is a third-person adventure and flying game inspired by Twentieth Century Fox’s summer animated feature to hit theaters this June. Taking place 15 years after the Earth ends, the Drej rule and humans struggle for survival in a hostile galaxy dominated by the Drej aliens. Capitalizing on the film’s edgy and futuristic theme, the game will offer two game modes — action/adventure and arcade flying/shooter. Players can choose to play one of two main characters, Cale or Akima. Challenges to be found in Titan A.E. include solving puzzles, piloting ships (such as the Drej stinger, Valkirye, Phoenix and hoverbike), avoiding capture and using instinct and reflexes to defeat the evil aliens. There are also secret bonus areas which, when unlocked give players a glimpse at behind the scenes information including sketches, drawings and plans for the game.
