God of War: Chains of Olympus, being developed by Ready at Dawn Studios, the team responsible for Daxter on PSP, looks to be another stepping stone in the ever-lengthening path of Kratos. This new jaunt is an all-new story and takes places prior to the original God of War, covering the 10 years of servitude Kratos spent indebted to the Gods of Olympus in an attempt to free his mind of the guilt he bears for the murder of his family. Kratos will travel from the Gates of Hades through to the Depths of Tartarus, plunging players into places not seen by man. He'll fight strange and magical creatures of myth with all new combat moves, in addition to old favorites from past games. A multitude of tricky puzzles also awaits Kratos as he struggles to free the world from darkness and allow the Gods to once again rule Olympus.
