Car Adapter |

Function:It turns your Game Boy Advance into a car. No, just kidding. For those of us who may have a car, or will be in a car, or know of the thing called a 'car,' and don't like buying batteries every day or two, the strangely named Car Adapter ;) plugs into the lighter socket in a car and powers your Game Boy Advance! Those who want their Game Boy Advance to turn into a car should be playing F-Zero... :) |
| Performance:This is one gadget that delivers with no muss or fuss. It's sized like most of the commercial adapters on the market, but obviously is configured to run a Game Boy Advance, versus another electronic device. Sure, the voltage requirements may coincide, but before you go running out to buy a cheap car adapter at Wal-Mart, be aware that some adapters send out more or less volts than you need. Less won't really hurt you, but Heaven help you if it's more. I found the experience of running this about equal to using an A/C adapter at home, with the only difference being that the cord isn't really long enough to handle the back seat of some minivans. Not really a huge deal, since many of those vans may have lighters in the back for all I know. |

Features:
- Plugs into car lighter to power Game Boy
- Simple, slim design

Drawbacks & Problems::None, really. The cord length is a bit of a stretch (no pun intended) on my part to find something you might have a bit of trouble with. Most folks will probably find that although the adapter is not teeny-tiny (what adapter is?), you'll probably only be storing it in the glove compartment anyway. If you spend much time carpooling, or find yourself stuck in traffic jams for hours on end, MadCatz once again helps cut your battery budget down to near nothing. |
