This rubber is resilient. I squished it and squeezed it and it kept reforming to its natural shape. Good, that, being a ?protector? and all.
Comfort is a major problem for the Protector. It doesn?t go on quite right, and the cross-pad and buttons often don?t quite fit in the holes that are cut out for them. This causes the buttons to stick under the plastic in the down position, and it?s hard to reach the control pad because of the recessed plastic. The select and start buttons are almost unusable, buried under the plastic as such. This can be a real hassle. I worked with the rubber and got it to fit right for a while, but it soon slipped out a notch and became ornery again. Argh. The rubber is comfortable enough to hold, but the GBP wasn?t uncomfortable anyway. There?s no texturing to make it easier to hold or anything.
It?s easy to get on, but getting the Protector off is a pain when the buttons don?t want to work your way. If you can push them all down and get it out, though, it comes off easily enough.
