Capcom fans get a double dose of love with the release of Bionic Commando: Rearmed and Street Fighter Alpha. Bionic Commando: Rearmed is a remake of the NES classic, featuring the same shoot and grappling action along with new music, graphics and online rankings. Two-player co-op is also included, as is special unlockable content for the upcoming console version. The game will set you back $9.99, and believe me is worth it. A demo is also available for players who might be on the fence.
For anyone who has been following the excellent "Making of Bionic Commando: Rearmed" series, the third and final part is online along with the launch trailer.
Street Fighter Alpha, which retails for $5.99, is the latest "classics" release and can be played on either the PS3 or PSP.
Demos for the previously released shooter, 1942: Joint Strike, as well as NHL 2K9 and Tiger Woods PGA Tour 2009 round out the list of playable content.
Just in case the game, videos and demo aren't enough, two free Bionic Commando: Rearmed themes have been added. Two additional wallpapers are also available for anyone who doesn't want to apply an entire theme. If Bionic Commando isn't your thing, but you still want to dress up your PS3, there's also a new BioShock theme.
