Hudson Making New Beyblade Game

Hudson Entertainment, most famous for the Bomberman series, announced today the new agreement between themselves and Nelvana Enterprises to develop a new Beyblade game for the Nintendo Wii and DS.
Called Beyblade: Metal Fusion, the game is based on the new animated series of the same name and will most assuredly be accompanied by a toy line as well. The new series follows a boy named Ginka as he battles the evil Dark Nebula and strives to be the No. 1 ranked Beyblade master in the world.
Hopefully, Hudson and Nelvana can deliver a product that is much better than their previous efforts. Being caught in a strange middle ground between Pokemon and Yu-Gi-Oh doesn't give them much to work with, especially with the runaway success of Bakugan.
Let's hope it turns out well when Beyblade: Metal Fusion ships just in time for Christmas 2010.
