GameVortex Store... In Time for Valentine's Day |

Around here, February 14th is more than just another day. Sure, it's Valentine's Day, everyone knows that. A few out there might even realize that it's Lara Croft's birthday, as well. Still fewer may be aware that it's the anniversary of a website called PlayStation Illustrated - psillustrated.com. This website is near and dear to our hearts around here because it was our first website. Not only our first, but our oldest website; it's still around and this February 14th we will be celebrating 10 years. (That's like a hundred in website-years!)

To celebrate PSillustrated's 10th anniversary, we will be introducing new things throughout this year. For one, we present the GameVortex Gear Store. Our first offerings are designed to showcase some Valentine's day gifts that are perfect for that special gamer in your life. Currently, we have a "for him" and a "for her" store, to help you choose the perfect gift. In the near future, we will have a dedicated page on GameVortex that will serve as a central location to browse different collections.

One theme that is prominently featured currently is the GameVortex "Top Pick" Award graphic. For a game to receive this award, it has to score at least a 95%. This is a sort of "Seal of Approval" from GameVortex and is intended to inform the reader at a glance that the game in question is definitely a keeper. By featuring this award graphic, we are opening the meaning a bit; we obviously haven't play tested your girlfriend or boyfriend, so no nasty letters. You can, however, choose from some snappy Tees to some comfy intimates bearing this award to let your lover know that you're the best-of-the-best... or "award" them with a gift that lets them know that they are your "Top Pick". Either way, please use these items responsibly; it's our name on the line.
