The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind: The Newest Elder

We recently got our hands on a number of pretty screenshots for the upcoming Bethesda Softworks title Morrowind. The game?s full title is The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind, betraying its origin; the original two Elder Scrolls titles, Arena and Daggerfall, were both very involving RPGs with strong nonlinear elements. The same can be said for Morrowind.
The concept of the game is similar to the previous ones. You pick your character, and truly live it. Instead of following a hard-scripted storyline, you?re given free reign to do whatever you want over the wide world. Bethesda makes this even more appealing by having the PC version of the game come with the ?Morrowind Construction Set,? which is basically a world-builder. You can create your own dungeons or even entire worlds, populating them with items and monsters to your liking.
The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind is set for release in the fall of this year (that?s soon!) for both the Xbox and the PC. The screenshots above are for the Xbox version. We?ll let you know more as soon as we get our hands on the game.
