By the time The Wolf Among Us: Episode 4 - In Sheep's Clothing starts, Bigby Wolf has not had a good day. What started off as a murder investigation has resulted in uncovering a much darker operation led by Fabletown’s underbelly kingpen, The Crooked Man.

In Episode 3’s final moments, Bigby and Snow White were forced to turn Crane over to the loan shark and Bigby himself is rather badly torn up. While the mystery of the dead Fable strip dancers is still open, the focus of the investigations shifts a lot in this episode. Bigby knows that The Crooked Man is behind the deaths, but he doesn’t quite know why, at least not yet.

The Wolf Among Us: Episode 4 - In Sheep's Clothing kicks off with Bigby licking his wounds after his encounter with Bloody Mary, and he is given a stern warning to not get into any more fights. He will heal, but Fables can die eventually.

Of course, Bigby being who he is, he heads back onto the streets to trace down what leads he can find. He quickly learns from an unexpected source just how far reaching The Crooked Man’s hold is on the citizens of Fabletown, and it is armed with the new information that Bigby decides to question two new characters in the game, The Butcher and The Jersey Devil. In standard The Wolf Among Us fashion, the interviews don’t go as expected and Bigby will find himself in yet another fight.

The good news is that Bigby will return to the Business Office with both critical knowledge and a missing piece of a very difficult puzzle.

Before The Wolf Among Us: Episode 4 - In Sheep's Clothing wraps up, Bigby will have to help Snow with a bit of administrative work. When he returns to the Business Office, he finds Snow arguing with both Bluebeard and Toad. Both characters progress their stories a bit while Bigby is present, but you only have the opportunity to talk with Toad and send him on one path or another, and like most Telltale games, which path he takes is your choice and there will be consequences.

As usual, The Wolf Among Us: Episode 4 - In Sheep's Clothing leaves Bigby in a tight spot. Given that Episode 5 - Cry Wolf is the last episodes in the series, it is bound to wrap up the story and hopefully put The Crooked Man in his place. There are several big choices that have happened in both this In Sheep’s Clothing and previous episodes, so it will be interesting to see how some of those choices pan out. It’s also worth noting that The Wolf Among Us is a prequel to comic books, so hopefully this last segment will put everyone where they need to be in order to flow nicely into the comics.
