PSR-2
Score: 96%
Developer: Naki
Device Type: Controller

Function:

The PSR-2 is a digital controller. The design is well executed, and very similar to the Sony Digital controller. The difference of course, is the cordless feature. The good news is that remote technology has come a long way. As long as nothing is directly blocking the path between the controller and the PlayStation, this pad will work without fail. I had no problem using the PSR-2 while pointing off to the right, the left, even straight up! The PSR-2 works flawlessly. I was quite impressed.

Performance:

There aren?t lots of features for the PSR-2; it?s just a good, light, digital controller. Basically, it?s just a standard controller -- without the cord! The cordless feature makes it great for high-traffic areas. You can play from up to 30 feet away!

Features:
  • Includes two PSR-2 controllers
  • Independant turbo control for each button
  • Sleep Mode: Battery saver after 140 seconds
  • No cord! It?s cordless
  • Play up to 30 feet away from TV
  • Batteries required

Drawbacks & Problems::

The one drawback: the PSR-2 requires batteries. Obviously this is expected, so consider this as more of a note and a reminder rather than a problem. Great job, Naki. Now let?s see a remote ANALOG controller.
