The
SmartShare performs superbly, as is evidenced by the perfect score. Its perfection comes from not only its simplicity, but also for the little touch that adds that extra bit of oomph to the product. It comes with a volume control for each person, so that each listener can adjust the volume to however loud or soft they like. While it never completely mutes the volume, even on the lowest setting, it does lower it to the point that it is barely audible. On the loudest setting, it is quite adequate, while not blowing out the eardrums.
The unit itself will add an additional 7 inches to the space shared between users, but the freedom to simply relax and enjoy your PSP with someone else without having to hover over the system is immeasurable. The SmartShare comes is a slick black and grey plastic finish to match your PSP and is a must have for travelers attempting to watch a movie together using their PSP (or laptop DVD!) while on a plane or in a car.
