As you might guess,
Lightcore Grim Creeper’s basic attack is a swing of his scythe. It’s a pretty powerful attack alone, but there is so much more he can do after some upgrades. He also has a secondary attack, Ghost Form, that is very much like
Stealth Elf’s hiding ability, but just slightly better. The first thing I recommend is getting him a third attack. After you buy Poltergeist Scythe,
Lightcore Grim Creeper can spin his scythe at enemies, throwing them into the air. Buying Spirit Scythe will make his basic attack more powerful. Spook and Destroy is a really powerful ability that I highly recommend buying. With it, you press the secondary attack button and your spirit will leave the armor behind as a Living Armor. You can walk around quickly and tap up to five enemies. When you press your attack button again (or the time runs out), your armor will propel itself back to your spirit attacking all the enemies you touched on the way. It’s quite awesome! After you buy that, you can buy Armored Amore which will make the armor do even more damage.
Once you get all of those, you will need to choose an upgrade path. The top path has a variety of upgrades. Sphere of Fear will let you hold down your third attack button to spin your scythe longer and further. Grave Danger will increase your critical hit overall and is a passive upgrade. Ghastly Damage makes all your attacks more powerful for a small time after Living Armor has hit enemies. The bottom path has It’s Alive, which makes it so that the Living Armor will attack enemies while your spirit is out of it. Haunted Help makes it so that all enemies between your Living Armor and spirit are damaged rather than just the 5 that you touch. Soul Sampler steals the health of any enemies hit with Spook and Destroy and regenerates your own with it. Finally, the Soul Gem (found in Iron Jaw Gultch) ability is Help From Beyond. It lets you call a ghost friend to attack enemies with you. This can be especially helpful for those of you playing alone.
