EA has announced that Conquest, a new online multiplayer mode for
Battlefield: Bad Company will be released as a free download for both the PS3 and 360 on August 7th.
Conquest is the same mode found in Battlefield 1942, which pits players against each other in a battle to eliminate the opposing team's tickets. Players can slowly deplete the other team's tickets through individual kills, or cuase it to plummet drastically by capturing control points. The mode will be playable on four maps currently used for Gold Rush games.
