MetTek.net to Distribute MechWarrior 4 Free Product: MechWarrior 4 Like big robots with guns? Sure you do, otherwise you wouldn't have spent money seeing Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen. Well, unless you could care less about robots and just like Megan Fox... but still, big robots with guns are cool and no one has done the concept better than BattleTech. Community site MetTek.net, your source for all things Battletech, announced rights owner Smith & Tinker has given the site permission to distribute MechWarrior 4 and it's related expansions for free. The release is in commemoration of BattleTech's 25th Anniversary and the site's 10th. It also has something to do with the recent announcement of a new MechWarrior game from Piranha Games. I'm not sure how many readers remember MechWarrior 4, but it was a pretty good game and the price makes the release even better.
