Family Feud Decades Announced for Wii
Product: Family Feud Decades
Ubisoft recently announced that Family Feud Decades will be coming to the Nintendo Wii. Provided you've turned on your television at some point during the last few decades, you are at least familiar with the Emmy Award-winning game show. If you aren't, the rules have always been simple: the game pits two families against each other, and they try to guess the most popular answers to random survey questions. Decades is not the first Family Feud game to appear on the Wii, and based on the trends surrounding the family-friendly console, it probably won't be the last.

Family Feud Decades actually does something with its name. The decades in question are the last four: the 1970s, 80s, 90s, and 00s. What's the significance? These decades are what will dictate the survey questions. That's not all; the look of the game will change to reflect the shifting norms of our culture, and in-game avatars will express the decade with hilarious outfits.

Adam Novickas, U.S. director of marketing at Ubisoft, spoke briefly about the primary goal of the project: "Family Feud Decades is a fun game to play in a group setting. Players will get a chance to practice their trivia knowledge from recent decades in an engaging and entertaining way... It's the perfect game for the entire family as the questions represent information from a wide range of generations, and it's a great opportunity for parents to educate their children on events that may have happened before their time."

Family Feud Decades comes to us courtesy of Ludia and FremantleMedia Enterprises. It will be released for the Wii on November 9.
