Wizard Cons NOLA Product: Wizard World It's a new year and that means one thing - a new season for the Wizard World Comic Con. This year the Con, one of America's largest, is kicking off its season in New Orleans. From January 29 - 30, 2011, the New Orleans Ernest Morial Convention Center will become the place for all things pop-culture. The event, which celebrates fans of all things "geek" - including movies, comics, videogames, art, collectables and games - will play host to numerous round tables, movie viewings, photo-ops, contests and tournaments. Fan are encouraged to come dressed as their favorite heroes and villains for a chance to win prizes at costume contests. Wizard World New Orleans will welcome numerous guests, including James Marsters, Julie Benz, Louis Gossett Jr., Ray Park, Adam West, Burt Ward, Billy Dee Williams and Peter Tork. Marsters will take part in "Buffyfest," a fan event that will also include Nicholas Brendon, Clare Kramer, James Leary and Kelly Donovan. Other guests will include Ernie Hudson ("Ghostbusters"), Walter Koening ("Star Trek"), Robyn Griggs ("Another World"), Claudia Christian ("Babylon 5"), Mark Ryan ("Transformers 1 & 2") and Cynthia Scott "Aliens"). In addition to several notable television and film personalities, several comic book creators and artists will appear at Wizard Word New Orleans.
