3 New Hyundai Vehicles by Re:Mix Lab
Product: Re:Mix Lab's 2013 Hyundai
Re:Mix Lab is back with three Hyundai vehicles featuring custom style, design, performance and innovation. Each car has a unique personality. The Music 2.0 Veloster Turbo demands attention with its mirror-like chrome exterior, DJ station and sound system that can be heard from blocks away. The Eco-Tuner Elantra GT fuses fashion and enthusiast-inspired design with socially connected technology to create an environmentally aware head-turner. The Re:Mix Genesis Coupe blends performance and luxury with an aggressive stance, a terra cotta leather interior and carbon fiber throughout. With custom audio, one-off materials and bespoke components throughout, each Re:Mix vehicle speaks to the passion, creativity and connectedness that unite us all. Three different builds with three different visions culminate in a celebration of cars, culture, design and innovation. Welcome to the Hyundai Re:Mix Lab.

The Veloster Turbo comes standard from the factory packed with a 7-inch multimedia touchscreen display, Blue Link telematics system, iPod/USB and auxiliary input jacks and a 450-watt Dimension audio system, which makes this vehicle a tech and music lover's dream. To up the ante from last year's Re:Mix Music Veloster, Hyundai took things to the next level with the Re:Mix Music 2.0 Veloster Turbo. The car was inspired by the style, movement and energy of electronic dance music and demands attention with a head-turning chrome exterior, neon orange accents and a Rockford Fosgate pro-audio, competition-level sound system complete with LEDs and strobes. Real-time DJing is made simple when you open the rear hatch - showcasing a motorized TV turned interactive touchscreen DJ station, utilizing Smithson Martin's Emulator. The Music 2.0 Veloster Turbo is ready to take center stage with world-class DJs including concert-ready speakers, mixing software and three subwoofers for the ultimate audio setup.

The themes of efficiency and sustainability instilled the customized 2013 Hyundai Elantra GT with an eco-friendly theme. The exterior was painted matte green and the interior includes recycled tweed fabric. Having fun is key to life so they paired a Nintendo Wii with a 15-inch motorized TV in the rear hatch. The cargo roof rack ensures you'll have plenty of room to see and experience whatever is in store on the road trip of a lifetime with the Elantra GT.

Blurring the lines of performance and luxury is no easy task with many imitators and few visionaries. Luckily, Hyundai already makes the 2013 Genesis Coupe 2.0T R-Spec with a host of standard performance features, like Brembo brakes, a new 2.0-liter turbocharged engine with 274 horsepower, a limited-slip differential, along with upgraded intake, exhaust and racing seats. The exterior of the vehicle features custom paint and is accented with hand-laid carbon fiber to lend an aggressive stance. The interior was re-upholstered in terra cotta leather and suede and set off with a gunmetal stitch. Custom speaker pods and a subwoofer box were fabricated to house the premium audio system. The Genesis Coupe is pure exhilaration on the road and offers the driver and passenger an in-car experience second to none.

"To build on the success of last year we needed to go back to the drawing board to create something that embodies the spirit of these cars but also make it compelling enough for all the hypebeasts out there to participate. We jumped at the opportunity to further expand the 'Exhibit In Collaboration' with the blessing of HMA that serves to further solidify the brand as a supporter of the thought leaders whose works are at the forefront of culture today."
- Ben Harris, Chief Operating Officer of H360

Though inspired by three specific genres, each Hyundai is the ultimate example of collaboration with elements of art, music, fashion, technology and design. To further exemplify the ubiquitous role that collaboration has played in the lives of consumers, H360, the experiential marketing division of Harris Publications, has created a truly memorable experience at the Re:Mix Lab, a traveling culture festival and gallery installation which serves as the backdrop for the custom Hyundai vehicles.
