Def Jam: Fight for NY: Hip-Hop Artists Battle for NY
Company: EA Games

Once again, you must fight your way through dozens of thugs and claim your title as top gangster in the underworld hip-hop fight club called Def Jam: Fight for NY. But this time -- the fights will actually finish.

One problem I saw with the original Def Jam was the fact that no matter how low either your or your opponent's health meter dropped -- the match just wouldn't end. Well, that is over -- in this sequel, not only do the matches end, but they tend to end fast.

Def Jam: Fight for NY puts you in the high-tops of many Hip-Hop stars like ludacris, Busta Rhymes and Method Man, as you lead one of two crews to the top of the New York gang scene.

With more than 90 fights ahead of you, and the ability to use five different fighting styles across 20 locations, Fight for NY looks to surpass its predecessor in both story and all-around feel.

The five styles available to you are martial arts, kick boxing, street fighting and wrestling -- and different techniques will work best in different venues and against different opponents, so you will have to keep on your toes and choose the best style if you wish to survive the gang-wars.

Def Jam: Fight for NY looks to be a beautiful game that will take the underworld-street fighting genre to a new level.
