The story opens as Ethan and Rick are holding a bus full of terrified people at gunpoint. Amidst the turmoil, an explosion occurs. The next thing Ethan knows, he has awakened in a sterile examination room with a couple of doctors milling about and a menacing voice threatening him. He soon realizes he is in some sort of prison.
As he talks to the other prisoner, Spider, who is closest to him and watches as the guards take another prisoner for regularly scheduled "sessions," he comes to realize this is no normal prison. In his own sessions, he relives his crime over and over, with small details changing each time. Try as he may, he can't seem to change the eventuality of his crime. Just what kind of prison is this?
Same Crime Tomorrow is a fun, thrilling story that any avid reader will burn through quickly. While I figured out the twist before the end, it was only just before and the quick ride to get there was really enjoyable. The Kindle version of Same Crime Tomorrow is free for Amazon Prime members, so you have nothing to lose! Go check it out.
